The New Holland Engineering Story
New Holland Engineering became John Berker’s start up machine shop in 1993 when he left his corporate engineering role as a tool and die designer. He went on to build a variety of dies for different companies, but never got to run the parts for very long. The dies went offshore and the steady work left New Holland, Ohio.
He eventually decided to design a die that would allow him to run his own parts. The product he settled on was a hidden gutter hanger, where there was much room for improvement.
The engineered result was the first hanger with strengthening ribs formed along both sides. By extending the ribs well into the tip, added strength was provided in the most critical area.
Now, we’ve engineered upturned edges into our already strong hangers. The original, double rib style is still a great mix of quality and value. Our new PRIME hanger is simply the strongest hanger of any we’ve tested from our competitors!
